Dr. Seuss week...

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well.

Green eggs and Ham: Wear green!

Toddler/ Preschoo: We will sing "Where is _(Friend's name)_...." We will go over our shape and colors. We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? We will read "Green eggs and ham". I will as the children if they would eat green eggs and ham? We will do a vote.

Skills:
-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.

-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: S, s (Main focus)

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

-Color/sorting/and pattering day.

Art: Preschool: Cut out an egg shape and put in a box along with marbles and paint, to do some marble painting. Toddlers: Will have a pre-cut egg shape and will place in a box and shake the box for marble painting.

Large motor: Monster tag..

Toddlers: Will have pre-cut strips of red paper to place on white paper to create the cat in the hat, hat.

Large motor: Kick ball.
