What an incredible summer we've had! We have been making the most of the beautiful weather by spending as much time outdoors as possible. Weather permitting, we are outside from 8:00 a.m. until pick-up time, exploring, learning, and enjoying nature.
Our days have been filled with active outdoor play, water activities, sensory experiences, scavenger hunts, gardening, and plenty of opportunities to discover the world around us. We love encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. Fresh air, active play, and exploring nature have been some of our favorite parts of summer, and we've created so many wonderful memories together.
This summer, our main focus has been on creativity and artistic expression. The children have enjoyed several large art projects throughout the season. From tie-dyeing their own towels to exploring the world of clay art, every child 1 year and older has had the opportunity to create, experiment, and express themselves through hands-on activities. It has been amazing to watch their imaginations come to life and to see the pride they take in their artwork.
We've also continued our monthly Breakfast Club with families. These special mornings give children the opportunity to spend quality time with their grown-ups while proudly showing them around our outdoor classroom. It's always a joy to see families connecting, exploring, and making lasting memories together.
As summer comes to an end, we will gradually transition back into our regular curriculum and daily routine. While we'll continue to enjoy outdoor play whenever the weather allows, our days will once again include planned learning activities that support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Thank you to all of our families for making this such a fun, creative, and memorable summer. We look forward to another exciting season of learning, exploring, and growing together!
