May flowers...

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:

Toddler/Preschool: We will sing "Who came to daycare today...." We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? This week we will be talking about May flowers!! We will continue reviewing what we know about flowers and what we like most about flowers.. Happy Friday!

Skills: Cognitive, motor development, approaches to learning:

-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.

-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: V, v

-Word of the week: Flower

-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)

-Counting day..

Art: Fork flower art

Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other Free activities: (Preschool/toddler)
