Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:
Toddler/Preschool: We will sing "Who came to daycare today...." We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? This week we will continue talking about community helpers, last week we talked more about emergency community helpers, this week we will focus on people who are more around our community, for example, bakers, restaurants, mail people, teachers, librarians, and more!
Skills: Cognitive, motor development, approaches to learning:
-Preschool/toddlers: Shapes and colors.
Toddlers: Potty training
-Toddlers/preschool: We will be practicing counting on our calendar, and more.
-Preschool: Letter of the week: C,c
-Word of the week: Community helpers
-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)
-Color/sorting and pattering
Art: Thank you card for our special guest on Monday.
Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other Free activities: (Preschool/toddler)
