Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well:
Toddlers: We will sing "Who came to daycare today...." We will go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel.. We will go over our shapes and colors. And talk about outdoor play! Since this week about nature we will be doing more exploring outside and talking about what we'll find.

-Preschool: Letter of the week: J, j
-Word of the week: Nature
-Preschool: Practice zipping, shoe tying, and buttoning buttons. (Main focus)
Journal: We will take our journals outside and write down what we see..
Large motor: Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling , and other activities: (Preschool/toddler)
