Snow/winter fun week...

Group Time: Social and Emotional Development, language and literacy development, Cognitive development (Social systems understanding), creativity, approaches to learning. (Preschoolers and toddlers) While welcoming our preschoolers to daycare, we will be also encouraging the toddlers to sit down with us and participate as well.

Toddler: We will sing "Where is __(Friend's name)___, where is __(repeat name)_____, please stand up, please stand up, do a little wave, do a little dance, please sit down, please sit down." We will go over our shapes and colors. We will read our book "The mitten". We will count how many animals fit in the mitten.

Preschool: We will sing "Where is __(Friend's name)___, where is __(repeat name)_____, please stand up, please stand up, do a little wave, do a little dance, please sit down, please sit down." We will also go over our helping hands, calendar, weather, and how we feel today? We will read "The mitten". After reading this book we will create a story map. This week we will be doing projects and crafts based off this book.
